Call & Response: Zaki Ibrahim
Toronto-based dynamism/cool hop show-stopper Zaki Ibrahim recently released her official launch phonograph record Eclectica (Episodes in Purple) to a capacity crowd at the Mod bludgeon. Since I didn't outmanoeuvre my Q&A back from her people prior to the show, this is my first enter-event invite & Response.

The show was superb. DJ Nana, bon-bons Coated Killahz and Kamau warmed the inspirited crowd up nicely, and Zaki enthralled everybody in the place with her pleasing articulation and passionate charisma. I heard a mistress gush about Zaki behind me on the streetcar nag shelter. People love her music and they girlfriend her performances indeed more.

I have to admit that Zaki's music was fresh to me but I got into it sort out away. Her enumerate - only as the legend suggests - is an eclectic combination of beats and moods. I found more out about Zaki when we talked in her multi-continental upbringing, her undescribable attraction to Toronto, and her feelings toward technology.
